I am very excited about our Teen Trip! It will be a wonderful time of fun and fellowship. Please review the information below carefully and let me know if you have any questions.

Itinerary: 

Thursday July 16th: 

10:00 am - Leave OBC 

1:00 pm - Arrive at Chick-fil-a in Cleveland, TN - 3890 NW Keith St. Cleveland, TN 37312

1:00 - 1:45 pm - Eat lunch

2:00 pm - Arrive at Adventures Unlimited 

2:30 - 5:30 pm - Rafting

5:30 - 6:00 pm - Change clothes at Adventures Unlimited

6:00 - 7:00 pm - Dinner 

7:00 - 11:30 pm - Travel to Quality Inn - 1050 Fashion Ridge Rd, Dry Ridge, KY, 41035

 

Friday July 17th:

 7:30 - 8:15 am - Breakfast at hotel

8:20 am - Leave hotel 

8:30 am - 12:00 pm - Ark Encounter

12:00 - 1:00 pm - Lunch

1:00 - 1:45 pm - Drive to Creation Museum

1:45 pm - ??? - Creation Museum 

Dinner 

Drive to hotel

 

Saturday July 18th:

8:00 am - Breakfast at hotel/Load up

9:00 am - Leave hotel 

12:30 - 1:30 pm - Lunch

Arrive at OBC - 5:00pm

Dress Code:

White Water Rafting:

Guys: Dark t-shirt and shorts/swim trunks/nylon or quick drying gym pants are acceptable. Compression shorts or pants can be worn underneath your shorts/swim trunks but is not necessary. Please no t-shirts with inappropriate words or images. Shoes must be secure so NO flip flops. 

Girls: Dark t-shirt and breathable skirt with leggings. Skirted leggings would also be appropriate. Full coverage bathing suit top should be worn underneath your t-shirt. No bikinis or low-cut bathing suits. Shoes must be secure so NO flip flops. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please bring and wear plenty of sunscreen! It is your responsibility to apply and reapply sunscreen. A few years ago, we had a young person with sensitive skin who failed to properly apply sunscreen and was badly burnt and blistered.

 

General Dress Code:

Guys: T-shirt and knee length shorts/pants. Please no t-shirts with inappropriate words or images. Please wear shoes appropriate for standing and walking most of the day. 

Girls: Modest top (no low cut necklines) and knee length skirt. Please wear shoes appropriate for standing and walking most of the day. 

What to bring:

Spending money for snacks and souvenirs

Clothes to change into when we finish rafting

A towel to dry off with

A good attitude

It might be a good idea to bring a backpack for your personal items and purchased souvenirs

Guns, knives, etc.
